Privacy Policy

Your e-mail address is used to send you information that you requested. We never sell, rent, or loan our e-mail lists to outside firms: No Spam. We may include paid advertisements in the e-mail in order to support this service, but we will never only send you advertising and we will never provide your name or e-mail address to any advertisers.

You can always remove yourself from a list to which you have subscribed. Simply go to the free mailing lists sign-up page, The Silver Lake Eagles NewUpdate, select "unsubscribe", enter your email address, and click the "submit" button.

Names of students will not appear in cut lines for photos to ensure the safety and privacy of those individuals. The Silver Lake Board of Education supports this decision.

Letters to the editor must be signed when submitted to "The Eagle Times" newspaper staff under "The Eagle Times" link. These letters may express opinions that are not necessarily those of "The Eagle Times" staff. The editor reserves the right to reject or edit letters for libel, grammar, style, and/or length. Letters from students will be published first since "The Eagle Times" is a student newspaper. Letters may be submitted to Room 117, Silver Lake High School, 200 East Lake, PO Box 39, Silver Lake, Kan. 66539.

Commentaries and editorials written by staff members of "The Eagle Times" may also express opinions that are not necessarily those of "The Eagle Times" staff or the Silver Lake administration.
