District fees released

Enrollment, for most, is the first step toward the reality of summer ending and school beginning. Silver Lake administration recently released this year's fees and charges that will be collected during enrollment.
The 2004-2005 textbook rental fees are as follows: $25 plus $3 for a shirt for kindergartners, and $50 for grades 1-12.
An additional fee of $15 per semester will be charged to students enrolled in each high school vocational course including agriculture, industrial arts, photography, art, accounting and computer classes.
Junior high students enrolled in wood shop, family and consumer science or art will be charged $10 per semester.
Each band member in grades 5-12 will be charged $13 for a band shirt. Music instrument rental will be $20 per semester.
Meal prices for the 2004-2005 school year are $1.90 for elementary students, $2 for junior and senior high students, $2.35 for adults, and 30 cents for an extra milk.
