Special Meeting
August 31, 2005
Members Present: Brad Bryant, Sam Grant, Cindy Hawkins, Cheri Corwin, Cindy Hill, Susan Runyan, and Clint Wichman.
Others present: Mr. Steve Pegram, Superintendent; Ronda Dewey, Elementary Principal; Larry Winter, Jr./Sr. High School Principal; Jim Lindstrom, Assistant Principal Jr./Sr. High School; Brett Hamilton, Maintenance Supervisor; and Kansas Department of Education Representatives.
Call to order: Mr. Bryant opened the special meeting at 6:00 p.m.
Welcome Guests: Mr. Bryant welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Approval of Agenda: Motion made by Grant to approve agenda and seconded by Hawkins.

Approval of 2005-2006 Budget: Grant made the motion to approve the 2005-06 budget as presented with Hill making the second. 6-1 Wichman against.
Establish September 10, 2005 For Special BOE Meeting: No Action
Review Kolbe Indexes: The BOE reviewed Kolbe Indexes with members of KSDE
No Action
Goal Setting/Program Review: The BOE identified several areas they would like to focus on for the upcoming school year. Dr. Pegram will develop these identified areas into goals for the BOE and present them for board consideration at the September BOE meeting.
Adjournment: At 9:55p.m. Corwin made the motion to adjourn the meeting with Hill making the second. 7-0
