Diana Frownfelter and her child development students' fundraising efforts have been completed, with the students raising a total of $251 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Frownfelter said that she is satisfied with what they have accomplished, and she thinks that they are finished collecting.

"There are so many other organizations and churches raising money, so I think this is it for the Katrina disaster. I am very pleased with what the girls did, but I think we are done," stated Frownfelter.

Junior Kassi Simone said that they could have raised more money, but she was also very proud of the outcome.

"We could have planned ahead better and did better at letting people know about the fundraiser. Overall, I think we did good, but I think if we would have worked a little harder we could have done better," commented Simone.

The money donated will be given to the Salvation Army.
