School personnel gear up for enrollment

Silver Lake students will soon begin enrolling for the 2006-2007 school year. Junior high and high school class schedules are available on this web site. (Click on the buttons located on the right side of the front page.)
On Tuesday, Aug. 8, seniors will enroll from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., juniors will enroll from noon to 3 p.m., and elementary students will begin enrolling at 4 p.m. High school enrollment will be in Room 104, which is located next to the high school office. Elementary enrollment will be in the grade school band room.
On Wednesday, Aug. 9, sophomores will enroll from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and freshmen will enroll from noon to 3 p.m.
All junior high students, new students, and late enrollees will enroll on Thursday, Aug. 10. Enrollment times are 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. Enrollment ends at noon on Friday, Aug. 11.
According to Jamie Manhart, journalism instructor, the 2005-2006 yearbooks will be distributed at enrollment to students who purchased them. Extra yearbooks will be for sale for those students who did not purchase an '05-'06 yearbook. As always, the journalism staff will be taking yearbook orders for the 2006-2007 school year, as well as selling highlight DVDs from this past school year.
Fall sports participants will begin their first day of practices on Aug. 14. School resumes on Aug. 17.
