Students can expect changes at enrollment

For the first time in school history, school pictures for junior and senior high students will be taken during enrollment as opposed to during the school year.

LifeTouch photographers will set up during enrollment from noon to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8; and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9. Junior high and senior high students can get their photos taken during any of these time slots. They do not necessarily have to have their photo taken during their designated enrollment time. LifeTouch order forms can be downloaded from the front page of the school web site. (See "School Picture Order Form") Forms are also currently available in the high school office, and extra forms will be available during enrollment.

A separate check should be made out to LifeTouch for school pictures. Do not include the school pictures fee with enrollment fees.

If students fail to get their photo taken on Aug. 7, 8, or 9, then they will need to participate in retakes on Sept. 25.

Seniors enroll from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, and juniors enroll from noon to 3 p.m. that same day. Sophomores enroll from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, and freshmen enroll from noon to 3 p.m. that same day.

All junior high students enroll on Thursday, Aug. 9. Enrollment will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. At 10 a.m., new high school students will enroll, and at 2 p.m., new junior high students will enroll. Enrollment ends at noon on Friday, Aug. 10.

Enrollment will be held in the computer room next to the high school office. Students can get a sneak peek at junior high and senior high class schedules by clicking on the respective buttons on the front page of the school web site.

The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 16, which will be a maroon day.
