Inspiration in our halls

Looking down the high school hallway all you see is white walls and maroon lockers. But the student counsel thought the school should be more inviting to the fellow students.
“After the
fall meeting the students thought the hallways looked cold and
wanted to make them more colorful and inviting. Rock Creek has
quotes painted on their walls of their locker rooms which the
student counsel thought would a be great way to liven up our halls
here,” said Mary LaMar, Stucco sponsor.
Stucco is going to be hanging up
inspirational quotes all over the school this month. They are to
help with school unity, pride, and also, for motivation for the
state assessments.
This year
is also the first year for Buff Puff on March 30th. It will give
the boys a chance to see that volleyball is not as easy as our
girls make it look. We are also keeping up an old tradition with
girl’s Powder Puff football on April 30th.
Stucco is trying to start a new tradition this year as well. Having all the seniors writing their names on a wall in the school before graduation. With each year’s senior class adding to it.
