What is the Silver Lake Booster Club?
We are a group of parents and community members who work closely with the Silver Lake Junior-Senior High staff, administration, and Student Council to promote the tradition of excellence in SLHS academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities. This is accomplished through both volunteer time and financial support. See the SLBC Bylaws for more information.

The following represents the SLBC's activities during the 2007-2008 school year:

Fall Sports	Organized Fall Sports Rally
Girls Golf	Goody bags, new golf bags (shared with Boys)
Volleyball	Goody bags, State program ad, State money for t-shirts or meal, posters
Cross Country	Goody bags, State money for t-shirts or meal
Football	Sack dinners for Riley County game, prepared sack lunches for State (included all student groups who attended), State program ad, contributed to charter bus, photo posters
School Enhancement/Service	Put-In-Cups in fence, money approved for media center art (to be designed by art class), ticket-taking at most events, Fan of the Game promotion
Scholar’s Bowl	Volunteers provided
Junior High Wrestling	Posters
Junior High Girls Basketball	Posters
Cheerleaders	Paint Markers, food money, sack lunches
District Honor Band	Goody bags
High School Musical Cast	Pizza and brownies
Debate	Goody bags and water
Wrestling	Food money for Beloit and State trip, State program ad

High School Play Cast	Pizza, pop, and cinnamon rolls

Junior High Play Cast	Pizza
Forensics	Snacks and water for various tournaments

Who can join?
The membership is open to any adult interested in the progress and development of the academic and athletic programs at SLHS.

How do I join?
The Booster Club has a table at most home Varsity Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling games. You can sign up at the table, or download the membership form and give it to a Booster Club officer at any time.
