Construction does not delay enrollment, school

Although there is much construction activity at the elementary and junior/senior high buildings, enrollment, and the start of school, are still on schedule.

According to Larry Winter, junior/senior high school principal, enrollment will be held on the stage in the Performing Arts Center. On Tuesday, Aug. 5, seniors will enroll from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and juniors will enroll from noon to 3 p.m. 

Ronda Pegram, grade school principal, said that all elementary students will enroll from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Enrollment will be held in the grade school library, and parents will need to use the south entrance.

On Wednesday, Aug. 6, sophomores will enroll from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and freshmen from noon to 3 p.m. Junior high enrollment will be on the PAC stage Thursday, Aug. 7 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m.

New students and students who missed their scheduled times will enroll on Friday, Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Winter said that all junior and senior high students will have their school pictures taken during enrollment. The photographers will be in the high school commons area from noon to 3 p.m on Aug. 5 and then 8 to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 7. 

He said students who enroll on Friday, Aug. 8 will need to have their school pictures taken on Tuesday, Sept. 23 when picture retakes are scheduled.
